Yesterday I went to the zoo with my family. It was a very good experience. I am bubbling with joy. I have to tell you a really exciting piece of news. You now what- in the zoo- we came across coral fishes. Oh God- they were so colourful and nice. I just loved them so, so, so much. I wanted to keep on looking at them forever.

My kids were pretty amused to see me so delighted. But I just loved those fishes. When I looked at them, I felt very, very peaceful. I finally decided that we will take them home. My wife and kids were aghast. But I put my foot down. I really was in love with those fishes.

I talked to the authorities there and got a couple of coral fish. We brought them home. My heart was dancing with joy. I even called my mom and sister to tell them about it. In the evening we had a brainstorming session as to how we should name the fishes.

I thought a great deal and decided to name them- Charlie and Marlin. Oh God- my sweet two fishes are Charlie and Marlin. I am feeling so good. My kids think that their dad is being rather too sweet upon the fishes. But I don’t mind that. I love them so much.

I feed them everyday and they look at me when I do so. It is like life has come in our home. Charlie and Marlin have now become a part of our lives. My family is still maintaining its distance but I know they will come around.

I have asked mom to come and see my sweet fishes. She is so excited. I read somewhere that fishes also bring a lot of positive energy in the house. I think this is what I am feeling. I am feeling very positive. When I look at them swimming so happily in water, my heart is filled with joy and satisfaction. I strongly feel that everyone should take care of some animal. It can be anyone- stray dogs, birds, fishes. We are all creations of one God and it feels great to share food and shelter with someone.

I feel it is my small way to be happy and bring happiness to my loved ones. But let me take your leave now. I have to give food to Charlie and Marlin. Please take care. Bye.

The ‘common man’ hurried because he knew he was late. He was taken in by a big surprise when he saw his wife and kids feeding the two fishes. He couldn’t help but join them. They all kept on looking at the two angels and making plans about their happy future.
