I am really very angry. I don’t know what will become of my two kids. They always do things that horrify me so much. I keep on telling them not to do it and then they say I am nagging. Come on- I am not a nag. But certain things can not be permitted and they have to understand that.
So instead of supposedly nagging- I have issued an ultimatum that they can’t chew gums in the house. I find it most irritating. They are always chewing gums even when they are talking to me. What kind of nonsense is this? I understand that you like them so you have them once in a while- but I can’t understand chewing a gum for twenty hours in a day. This is not good at all.
I have realized the kids do this kind of stuff to show attitude. It’s not something new. When I was young, then also kids used to do that. But I never took up this good- for- nothing practice. We should not simply follow what others are doing. We need to sit and think if we really believe in doing it.
If this was not enough, my kids throw their chewed gums absolutely anywhere in the house. They don’t have the sense to throw it in the dustbin. Yesterday I was moving some furniture in the living room when I found my foot sticking on the floor. I looked and found out that it was the chewing gum. This is simply disgusting. I will not tolerate any kind of nonsense anymore.
My kids say that chewing a gum looks cool. They support their point by saying that it is also the perfect mouth freshner. I don’t give a damn about this. You don’t have to freshen your mouth the entire day. You only have to brush your teeth twice in a day and that will take care of all the freshness.
I will see to it that my children behave from now onwards. I think I should take leave now. I really need to curb my anger. Please take care. Bye.
The ‘common man’ was sitting on the sofa seething with anger when he was approached by his two kids. They apologized to him and promised not to chew gums like maniac again. Everyone smiled and life was happy again.
