The one thing that always makes my kids sleep is my reading out a book to them. I have told you earlier also that I am no good at reading or for that matter speaking also. My family jokes and asks me to start reading when they aren’t feeling sleepy.

The one thing that always makes my kids run away is the sight of milk. My kids hate drinking milk and run away the moment I utter that word. They even hate it when they watch me drinking the milk. Milk is a much prohibited term in our house.

The one thing that always makes my kids feel scared is all the ghost movies that they keep on watching. I have tried hard to convince them that they should not watch such movies. But well- nobody listens to me. They watch horror movies, that to at night and then claim they can see ghosts.

The one thing that always makes my kids do high jump on their beds with red angry faces is when either me or my wife, enter their rooms without their permission. Thankfully me and wife purchased the sturdiest beds when we went shopping for our kids rooms. I will recommend the brand to everyone around me.

The one thing that always makes my kids revolt is when me and wife cut down on their television watching time as punishment. They both strongly feel that it is grave injustice. They both make a team and find out ways to change the resolution we had passed.

The one thing that always makes my kids happy is when me and wife hug them and tell them stories from their growing up years. Although they utter a weak ‘not again dad’ phrase but finally they settle down to hear the stories again with relish.

The ‘common man’ was very happy and decided to drink his favourite drink. He filled a glass and settled himself in the living room where his kids were watching television. The moment he took his first sip, the kids ran away. The Common man smiled, switched the television on his favourite channel and drank his glass of milk with sheer joy.
