I am very, very excited. My mom is coming to visit us. Oh God- what do I do? I am so happy. My kids are waiting since morning for their grandma. They have made so many plans.

We have all decided to go for a picnic tomorrow. We will pack sandwiches and just head off to a quiet place. Mom will surely love this. She has always loved going for picnics and little get togethers. My wife is arranging the room for mom. She has placed the jug of water at the bedside because mom wakes up in night and feels thirsty.

My son is planning to tell his grandma all about computers. Last time when mom came, she was so excited about learning computer. She wanted to make her email-id. You can’t guess what email-id she has chosen. It is ‘life is cool’. Oh God!!!!!!! What do i do with my mom? She is like that only. She is the coolest mom I have ever seen.

My daughter is planning to learn making cookies from her grandma. I have tried many times to teach her but she says that grandma makes them best, so she will learn from her only. This is absolutely true. Nobody can make cookies like mom does. They are most delicious and yummy.

My wife is threatening me that she will complain to mom about me. Actually she loves doing that. And then mom will scold me. Actually mom loves doing that. And then I will smile and say sorry. Actually I love doing that.

It’s going to be whole lot of fun. I have also brought DVD’s of old movies. Mom loves watching them so much. She always says that nothing can beat the charm of black and white movies. I am waiting to watch them with her. We will all huddle around the TV with a bowl of popcorn.

The ‘common man’ couldn’t help feeling overwhelmed when he saw his mom answering the endless questions of his kids. Somehow he remembered how he used to ask the most funny questions to his mom. He was happy because his mom always had an answer to his every question.
