I was reading a most interesting article some time before in newspaper. I must say- it really caught my attention. The article was about the hottest chilli in this world. It is called Bhut Jolokia. It is found majorly in the north eastern Indian region called Assam. In 2007, Guinness World Records certified the Bhut Jolokia as the world's hottest chili pepper, 400 times hotter than Tabasco sauce. Oh God!!!!!! I can’t even imagine how hot it must be.

To my great surprise, this chilli is used by people to cure stomach ailments. The chilli has medicinal properties. In local language they call it- raja mirchi- which means king chilli.

I am really amazed by the sheer treasure that grows in the lap of nature. It never ceases to delight. There are so many kinds of plants, so many herbs. I wonder if we human beings have unraveled even fifty percent of the secrets. It’s a whole new world outside.

Nowadays I don’t get much time to read all the interesting things. It is always so busy. You know what is the irony. When I was young, I used to think that now is the time to earn a living and make a place in the world. I used to think that I will read all the stuff when I will have a more settled life. When I will have a home and a family. Now when I have both, I think that I will read the interesting stuff when my kids will grow up and I have leisure time.

Oh God!!!!!! How I have been fooling myself? There will never be any real time of settling down. There will always be something or the other. It is very good rather. It is good that I have something to keep me busy and think about. Yes- I sometimes crave for a more relaxed time but still life is good.

I think I should not give more excuses to myself. I need to catch up on my reading. I want to know what’s all happening in the world. So many things are still not discovered. I want to atleast know the mysteries of nature that have been discovered by mankind. That will keep me busy for many years to come.

Let me take your leave now. Please take care. Bye.

The ‘common man’ found a book shop as he was walking down the market. He entered and found the shelves filled with delightful books. There was a whole new world waiting for him inside them. He couldn’t stop himself from taking a peep. Yes- that was his way to feel the mountain air, live the desert magic and move in the wide open fields full of blossoming flowers.
